Dine In To-ge-ther

Left: April,Jun, Rey..Right: Carlos,Rayne,Preche,Ritchelle..and yours truly "me",the camera girl.

Just like any occasions to celebrate for, we had our dinner get-together at PARDS Restaurant. This is just to celebrate our FIRST MONTHSARY at ESPC at the same time to bid goodbye to our fellow ojt's.-xoxo-

Moments to Remember (5.6.11)

Just after our first month here at ESPC, our fellow co-OJT's bid goodbye to us. I and Ritchelle will be left here for another month. It's sad since the two of us would be left here and with different areas to handle with. On the other hand were lucky enough to have another month to stay at ESPC. Im happy for them especially to those who were assigned at graveyard shift since they can have now a full time sleep without being bothered by their duties. On their last day (and our first and last bonding also), we had a pictorial with the ESPC Administrators namely, Ms. Ivy Palomo (HRO), Ms.Naneth Caraca (BM), and Ms. Mae Beron (AS). As the lyric of this song goes by:
 Someone's always saying goodbye
I believe it hurts when we cry
Don't we know partings never so easy
and with all the achings inside
I believe some hearts won't survive
Trying hard to pretend
that we're gonna be fine

Till we meet again someday..Ill be missing you all guys.See you @ School.

Happy Monthsary (5.5.11)

It's been a while since we've started our OJT at EVERSUN SOFTWARE Phil. Corp. And today, marked our first month at stay here in ESPC. Looking back to our experiences from the very beginning up to this day, they say:
Ritchelle said:
  • I really understand now the environment of being an IT student.
  • I learn on how to deal with different personality .
  • Here in Eversun I learn to be punctual. Duty on time.
  • Now I gain more confidence in communicating with others.
  • I learn things that are new to me which I know a great help in building my future.
  • Be resourceful.
  • Always obey all the rules given by the company.
  • Be polite to everybody.

Jun said:
  • I really understand the environment of this company, like on how to deal with the obligation that has given to you on this company and how to become responsible on your job.
  • I learn that the most important is the attitude, on how to deal with the other people, and to manage the relationship between you and your manager.
  • It is also needs knowledge and skills in analyzing the situation or the task that has given to you.
  • You have to follow the policies of the company.
  • Need to learn from your mistakes, because mistakes can make you a better person.

I say, “OJT here at ESPC helps me to prepare myself for my future employment. It also helps me to become more efficient in dealing with the people around me. I also learned how to deal with different personality and different people everyday. Learning is a lifetime process, and ESPC helps us to learn more especially in the fast and furious world of Information Technology. IT world in reality sucks, if you stop learning. And you know what, this is my first time to create my first blog. ESPC provides everything you will learn from the very beginning to help us shape our future. I gain knowledge. I learn new skills. I met different people. I can say that my personal experience here in ESPC provides everything not just for the real world of securing an employment but for me to look forward to after my graduation. Yes, someday I may be one of those applicants who are trying to seek a good job. And not just a good job but also a good company like ESPC.

Whoa, I'm out of word. Haha. .Ti'l next time. I have nothing to say. :)) To the night shifters people, April,Preche,Rey and Carlos.I miss you. Sorry if i haven't included your own learning in my blog. hehe. Before i put this to an end, allow me to say "bye2" to my fellow co-ojt's (April,Preche,Rey,Carlos,Jun,Rayne) and say "hello" to another world of your experience. We (I and Ritchelle) will miss you guys.

4th Day @ Work (4.8.11)

SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCE
♫When you got a job, take care of it. Consider that thousands of people today are jobless. I feel sad seeing people who are jobless and yet when they got a good job they are not responsible of taking care of it. Earning money was not as easy as picking a flower that bloom in your garden. It requires a lot of perseverance and hard work for you to gain what you have wished for. Suspension and Resignation is not the companies loss at all. LOVE your work and that WORK will love you too. :))

JOYS, DIFFICULTIES & ANXIETIES MET
♫I feel good! I finished my task at a given time and also with GOD's grace I performed it very well though I'm badly suffering from back pain. OUCH :(

LEARNING / INSIGHTS of the DAY
♫Improved my English communication skills both written and oral because I'm dealing with professional people everyday. Punctuality and Politeness counts a lot. I learned that ESPC gives credit to those who are candidates for BEST in ATTENDANCE and to those who are TOP Performer of their training and workshops.

DOLE Conference (4.28.11)

DOLE CONFERENCE--Preparation for the upcoming JOB FAIR!

Who would ever think that Eversun Software Phil. Corp has given me this opportunity to attend and be part of this one of a kind experience...I was terrified, Flattered..etc..No words can best describes how i really felt at that moment. I take this as an opportunity to enhance my interpersonal skills as what Ms.Ivy told me. I arrived at DOLE 15 minutes before the conference starts. Here it goes, shaking hands and knees (i bet all of you had already experience this one). This was also my first time to be at DOLE' office. Well then anyway, even if I know what would be the conference was all about, am little bit scared for i deal with professional people who is knowledgeable enough to discuss matters regarding on their concerns for the upcoming job fair this May 1, 2011 which will be conducted simultaneously at SM City and Gaisano Mall of Davao. I am thinking of those possible questions may raise during the conference for which i cannot deliver it on the way i expected to. Well, for God's grace..I made it. Another accomplishments which i consider it myself as part of  my significant experience i ever had during my OJT at ESPC.

My heartfelt gratitude to the ESPC-davao Administrators for trusting me and for giving me this chance to enhance my knowledge and develop my interpersonal skills. I owe you this one!

Dinner Treat ♥ (4.20.11)

Dinner Treat @ Green Hauz Buffet:

I together with  my co-OJT ritch and jun had a dinner treat with Ms.Neth and Mr.Allan both Admin of ESPC. We spend  almost 2 hours bonding together with laughter and some sort of sharing stories from our experiences. We really had a GREAT time spending with the two most respected person in ESPC. It was really a GREAT night! We are like a one big, happy family to others as they have seen us laughing together in a two small square table. The food was excellent!yum,yum..delisyoso..haha!

Thanks to Ms.Neth and Mr.Allan for this such unforgettable moment you have spent with us. SALAMAT Again sa TREAT. ..Hoping for the next one..hahaha..Just kidding! :))

3rd Day @ Work (4.7.11)

SIGNIFICANT LEARNING
◙ I experienced on facilitating the applicants on their examination ALONE. With Ms. Ivy's advice, the examination was successfully done. Applying on a very prestigious company with a high rank of skills probably would make it a more challenging to everyone. At ESPC, you need to be skilled enough for you to compensate with the others.

JOYS, DIFFICULTIES & ANXIETIES MET
◙ I am happy to experience once in my life in giving instructions and facilitating the applicants for their examination. A bit scared for I deal with professional people. Little shy also because I'm not trained enough to deal and face people like these who make my nose bleed in having a conversation with them. I even hesitate to look at their eyes for i might see something that would make me feel more uncomfortable.
►hahaha..Kalerky kaayo nga experience!:))

LEARNING / INSIGHTS OF THE DAY
◙ I learned to manage my work well at a given time especially that HR Dept. does a lot of encoding and keeping an update of their employees requirements and at the same time the scheduling of examination, interview, and training of applicants. I deal with the company's spreadsheet and database with confidentiality.

:p

2nd Day @ Work (4.6.11)

SIGNIFICANT LEARNING
♥Online tutorial helps a lot specially when you are pursuing on your field of wants. I started scanning and searching on INK SCAPE for web page designing  and i find it quite interesting. When i have nothing to do, I browse in the internet for me to work on. One thing I learned is that you should be fluent and good enough in oral and written communication skills. It add spice to your personality. Ms. Ivy let me send information to some applicants who will be having their examination on the following day! :)

JOYS, DIFFICULTIES & ANXIETIES MET
♥A little bit scared knowing that Ms. Ivy would report @ 2pm. I do not know how will I managed alone the HR office. On the other hand, Ms. Ivy left something for me to work on. She left a message on my table. Somehow, I'm glad that Ms. Ivy shows her heartwarming concerned, it makes my heart jumped for a moment. "Don't forget to drink Milo if you want", she quoted"!. LOVE IT!

LEARNING / INSIGHTS OF THE DAY
♥Being an HR Assistant entails a lot of responsibility like handling some confidential records among employees and applicants. Always keep your mouth shut!. Confidentiality requires a lot. :))

I promise to be QUIET..:))

1st Day @ Work (4.5.11)

Orientation @ ESPC-Human Resource Department:

SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCE
► To be assigned at HR Dept. was not easy. But learning new things at a time makes it quite interesting sometimes. On this day, I learned a lot of things on taking every single moments to learn something new in the field you like the most to be. Speaking English language somehow would make you more confident in dealing with people especially in having a conversation with them. Believe me it will help uplift yourself too.

JOYS,DIFFICULTIES & ANXIETIES MET
►Terrified! First time to be an HR Assistant. I'm afraid to commit mistake in encoding data of some applicants. I even hesitate to have a conversation with the HR Head because I'm afraid I can't deliver my thoughts correctly and that I was required to speak in English. :)

LEARNING/INSIGHTS of the DAY
►Learning is a lifetime process. Here at ESPC, i saw the real world of Information Technology and how technology evolve nowadays. Time flies so fast and we do not know how we can handle things while we were on our way. IT WORLD in REALITY SUCKS!.,if you stop learning.

Ms.Neth Birthday Bash (4.18.11)

Happy Birthday Ms.Neth!

Wishing you that this year would mark the beginning of a new and even stunning stage of your life. One rich with ideas, health, love, beauty and grace. May the Almighty God bless you more together with your family!

Thank you for the treat (lunch and ice cream).

Godbless and More Power to ESPC-Davao!

Orientation Day (4.4.11)

I together with my classmates arrived at EVERSUN SOFTWARE PHIL.CORP at exactly 9:00 in the morning. Mixed emotions with shaking hands and knees upon entering the ESPC office. As soon as Ms.Ivy Palomo arrived, we gathered ourselves at the Conference Room for an orientation regarding on our OJT. Before anything else, we introduced first ourselves to them as well as the ESPC Administrators introduced themselves to us. Aside form Ms.Ivy Palomo (Human Resource Dept. Head), we also meet Mr. Allan Villar (Branch System Administration Officer) and Ms.Naneth Caraca (Branch Manager-ESPC Davao). After a short conversation about our expectations on the company, Ms.Ivy discussed some rules and regulations as well as its policies inside the working area.Mr. Allan did also some reminders to us on Do's and Dont's inside the company.

I am glad that the ESPC Admin as well as its employee gives us a very warm welcome in their company and hoping to see us all applying in their company after we finish our studies. We feel like a family to them. It's like saying "opz..we belong".

It's really nice to be here @ ESPC-davao. Yohooooo:))
